Why HF says “needs token”
Hugging Face chat needs a token with Inference API permission. Fine-grained tokens that only have repo/discussion scopes will save but cannot call models. Paste below → local .env only (never git). Also set Worker secret for CF production.
Create token → Use either a classic Read token, or fine-grained with “Make calls to Inference Providers” / serverless Inference enabled.
